On May 15th, O’Sullivan McCormack Jensen and Bliss shareholder Amy Markim will be a featured speaker at The Connecticut Bar Association’s Trial Skills Institute, held at Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Connecticut.
The Trial Skills Institute is a unique experiential learning opportunity for trial attorneys and aspiring trial attorneys in Connecticut. In the morning session, Amy will speak about trial exhibits, objections, and building a record. Then, in the afternoon, Amy will join other experienced trial attorneys and judges to guide break-out sessions where attendees will hone their skills in voir dire, opening statements, direct examination, cross-examination, and closing arguments.
Amy currently serves as Director of the Hartford County Bar Association and Co-Chair of its Labor and Employment Law Committee. Additionally, she is Secretary of the Litigation Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the CBA’s Women in the Law Section.
